Poland is Seeking to Play a Role in Iraqi Oil Industry

The Polish defense minister Radoslaw Sikorski stated that the economic aspect is not the most prominent in the relations of his country with Iraq, but Warsaw is going to review what has been achieved in this field.
In an interview with a local publication, the minister added that his country is seeking to participate in the energy sector in Iraq. Press reports pointed out that Warsaw would demand Baghdad to secure a place for Polish companies in the field of reconstructing the oil facilities and digging for oil.(Source) Al Sharq Al Awsat
